Our Founder
Damaris Alvarado-Rodriguez
Damaris is a passionate advocate for children and a recognized leader in childcare. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn before settling in Philadelphia after 9/11, Damaris discovered her calling when she began caring for local families’ children—quickly growing from helping one child to establishing two thriving centers. Her work has earned her numerous honors, including the Al Día Women of Merit Award and Pennsylvania’s Equity in Early Childhood Education Champion Bronze Medal. Known for her dedication, community involvement, and magnetic connection with children, Damaris continues to expand access to high-quality childcare while preparing young learners for kindergarten and beyond.
