Summer Camp Scholarship Program
A Free 6-Week Preschool Experience at Children’s Playhouse ELA
Children’s Playhouse ELA is excited to offer a limited number of fully funded scholarships for our six-week Preschool Summer Camp—a fun, engaging, and educational experience created to support young learners and their families.
This unique opportunity is designed to help preschool-aged children build essential skills in a nurturing environment while easing the transition into a full-time academic setting.
Program Details
When: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Duration: Six weeks
Meals: Healthy, daily meals provided at no cost
Extra Perk: Scholarship recipients will receive priority placement in our 2025–2026 preschool program

Family Support Services
This summer camp is more than just childcare—it’s a comprehensive family support initiative.
Participating families will receive:
Personalized help enrolling in preschool
Step-by-step guidance through the ELRC process
Connections to career resources via Workforce Development partners
Attendance Expectations
We want every child to get the most from this experience.
Children who accumulate three unexcused absences may be withdrawn from the program to allow others the opportunity.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, families must meet the following criteria:
Child’s Age: Must be at least 3 years old by June 1 (proof required)
Living Situation: Families experiencing homelessness, living in shelters, or in transitional housing
Location: Must reside in Philadelphia
Health Records: Physical and/or dental forms, if available
Income: Not required, but can be submitted if accessible
